The Gift of the Givers Foundation has responded swiftly to the recent severe natural disasters on South Africa's eastern coast.
Fierce floods in the Eastern Cape and tornadoes in KwaZulu-Natal have claimed numerous lives and displaced thousands. Gift of the Givers has been on the ground from the start, raising funds and providing hot meals, blankets, shelter and other provisions to people affected.

Make a difference with your Ðiscovery Miles
Achieve your weekly exercise, drive or spend goals through Vitality Active Rewards to earn Ðiscovery Miles. You can then donate your Ðiscovery Miles to Gift of the Givers through Vitality MoveToGive in the Discovery app:
- For 200 Ðiscovery Miles, you can donate a hot meal and clean water to someone affected by flooding in KwaZulu-Natal and the Eastern Cape
- For 1,000 Ðiscovery Miles, you can donate a warm blanket to someone displaced from their home in the Eastern Cape.
- For 2,000 Ðiscovery Miles, you can contribute to repairs needed at schools damaged by the recent floods in KwaZulu-Natal.
