How do you earn Discovery Miles for getting active and driving well?
Vitality members with a qualifying Discovery Bank product with Vitality Money can earn Discovery Miles for getting active and driving well through the Vitality Health and Vitality Drive programmes.
But don't you earn Discovery Miles for achieving your goals already? Yes, you do, but these Discovery Miles are in addition to the plays you earn on the Vitality Active Rewards gameboard when you achieve your weekly goals.
You can earn up to 1 Discovery Mile for every Vitality fitness or Vitality drive point you earn in a week. How much you earn depends on your Discovery Bank product, your Vitality Money status, and your qualifying Discovery Bank card spend.
What are qualifying Discovery Bank products?
To earn extra Discovery Miles for achieving your fitness and drive goals, you need a:

- 5 000 or more steps: 50 - 100 points
- 30+ minute gym visit: 100 points
- Speed workouts on Strava: 100 points
- Using a Vitality-linked fitness device: up to 300 points
- Free parkrun or myrun: up to 300 points
- Vitality-timed race event: up to 300 points

At the start of each day, you get 25 Vitality drive points. Here's how you can drive well to keep your points:
- Drive within the speed limit.
- Accelerate, brake and corner smoothly.
- Don't use a cellphone while driving.
Harsh driving events will reduce the points balance, based on the type and severity of the driving event. At the end of each day, the remaining points will be banked. That means you can earn up to 175 Discovery Miles a week for driving well.
